Meet the Owner

Kalia Martin

I’m Kalia Martin — wife, mom of three, and the owner of Martin Haus Bookkeeping.

In the summer of 2022, my family moved from the outskirts of Austin to Goldthwaite, Texas so we could step away from the fast pace of the city and raise our children in a quieter, small-town community. After several years working in corporate sales as an account manager, I realized I wanted to build something of my own — a business that would allow me to be present for my family while also supporting other small business owners.

In 2025, I made the decision to step away from corporate life and start Martin Haus Bookkeeping. Running a business takes an incredible amount of time and energy, especially for owners who are also raising families. My goal is to help take the financial bookkeeping side off their plate so they can focus on growing their business and spending time with the people who matter most.

While many people shy away from numbers and financial organization, I genuinely enjoy it. I love bringing structure to messy books, keeping financial records organized, and helping business owners gain clarity and confidence in their numbers.

I’m a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and primarily work with small service-based businesses. While I especially enjoy supporting fellow business owners here in Central Texas, my services are fully remote, and I work with clients across the United States.

When I’m not working or cheering on my kids at sports and stock shows, you’ll usually find me in the garden, reading a good book, or experimenting with new recipes for my family.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to take care of your books so your business can take flight.
